How does the 2:1 time ratio work?
For every 2 hours of overtime you log, you earn 1 hour of personal time. The ratio is intentionally conservative — we'd rather you feel good spending your time than guilty about the math.
Is my data private?
Yes, completely. All your data stays on your device. We don't collect, store, or share any personal information. No accounts, no tracking, no analytics.
How do weather notifications work?
Balance Bud checks the evening weather and sends gentle nudges when conditions are nice — like "It's a beautiful 72° evening, perfect for a walk!" You can disable these anytime in settings.
Can I change the notification settings?
Yes! You can enable Zen Mode to pause all notifications, or customize when and how often you receive reminders in the app settings.
Why does it cost $1.99?
Because the alternative is ads, tracking, and subscriptions. We'd rather you pay once and own it forever than have your attention sold to advertisers. No ads, no subscriptions, no in-app purchases.
Does it work offline?
Yes! All core features work offline. The only feature that requires internet is weather-based notifications, which are optional.
How do I delete my data?
Since all data is stored locally on your device, simply deleting the app removes all your data. There's nothing stored on our servers because we don't have any.
